This policy explains what Indian Cabs collects when you book a ride or send us a message, why we keep it and how you can ask us to change or delete it.
What we collect
- Booking details — your name, mobile number, pickup and drop locations, date, time, vehicle type and any notes you add.
- Messages — your name, phone, optional email and the message you send through the contact form.
- Trip records — the chauffeur, vehicle and fare for each completed ride, kept for billing and GST invoicing.
Why we use it
We use these details only to confirm and run your trip, send the chauffeur's details, answer your message, issue receipts and invoices, and handle lost items or complaints. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
Who can see it
Our dispatch desk and the chauffeur assigned to your trip see what they need to complete it. Corporate account bookings are shared with the company that pays for them.
How long we keep it
Trip and billing records are kept for as long as Indian tax law requires. Contact-form messages are deleted once the conversation is closed and no longer needed.
